Came through secret escapes for a night away, breakfast, and gin distillery workshop and from the moment we arrived we couldn’t fault it. The rooms were beautiful (bathrooms could maybe use a refurb in a year or two but perfectly acceptable). We had our gin workshop experience with Blake who went above and beyond and we honestly couldn’t fault a single aspect. My partner, although liking flavoured gin, struggled as she didn’t enjoy the dry gins and Blake went and made her a cocktail instead which was so lovely and completely made her evening. Alison at the bar again went above and beyond and made our dinner experience. We felt like have personal service the whole time and nothing was too much to ask. 5* don’t hesitate to book.
Fabulous location. Great for walking. Dog friendly. The dog treats in room was a lovely touch. We had evening meal which was great no complaints. Lovely room clean and modern all we needed
My husband and I stayed for one evening on the gin experience. We had a fantastic time the gin experience is well worth doing . Blake who taught us all to make our own signature was extremely professional and very helpful and we learnt a lot about gin. Thank you Blake. The hotel is lovely rooms clean and spacious the staff are very polite and work really hard. Must mention lottie such a lovely young lady and very hard working. Nothing is too much trouble. Blake and Lottie are assets to this hotel . The breakfast was delicious. Thank you for a lovely weekend.
My girlfriend and I stayed here after booking the date night package. We were pleasantly surprised about how great this hotel was. The room was spacious and private. The meals were spot on, and we were even lucky enough to have booked on the night of their relaunch party and had a brilliant night of entertainment in their function room. All the staff and management were very welcoming, and it shows that they have a good team working here who are all committed and enjoy what they do. We travelled from North Yorkshire and had an amazing Lancashire getaway. Highly recommended.
